Dairy Runner Fortuna Group location Southland.

Fortuna Group is passionate about New Zealand's most important & successful trade industry – dairy.    We know where we are going and want you to come with us on our journey to the top. Our vision is “enriching the world and generating opportunities” and this is what we all work towards everyday.

We milk just over 12,000 dairy cows across 19 dairy farms in the deep south of New Zealand, producing over 5.6 million kilograms of milk solids every year. Through our proven capabilities in farm development, investment and management, we are committed to finding the best farm solutions and growing our dairy properties and our people throughout Southland and beyond. We are dedicated to managing and enhancing high standards of health and safety, environmental management and animal welfare across all our operations.

We have a number of roles coming available on 1 June 2020 from dairy assistant, herd manager through to assistant farm manager on our farms in central, northern and eastern Southland. We are looking for savvy high achievers to deliver on-farm, people who are in the industry to challenge themselves and expand their dairying careers. Or you might be ready for a change and want to explore dairy farming as an alternative, we want smart, engaged ‘early adopters’ who are always on the lookout for something new. This is more than ‘just a job’ this is a career where what everyone does every day matters.

On and off farm up skilling is encouraged at all times. Fortuna Group has an excellent track record and has support people, structures and systems to enable personal growth and development.

We are interested in exploring flexible work hours for the right person and remuneration is set accordingly to attract the talent the role requires. Fortuna Group is committed to providing a safe workplace and all successful applicants will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test and a criminal background check. The ability to work legally in NZ is compulsory.  There are a variety of accommodations options available and also the flexibility to travel from your own home.
