Customer Services Representative Lynx Recruitment Ltd location Auckland. $50,000 - $55,000.

Our client our client is a large scale provider of building materials to the wider commercial construction industry in New Zealand. With a long history of repeat clients and referrals, our client is known for their exceptional customer service, quality products and sound knowledge of the building industry.

The role providing customers exceptional service and expert advise is what this role is all about. No two days are the same with plenty of variety as you'll be assisting different trade customers and developing a great understanding of building products and materials to help them with their day to day enquiries and needs.

Key responsibilities supporting inbound trade customers with product advice, quotes, orders and enquiries. Serving builders and customers in the trade store. Liaising with suppliers for the delivery of materials in-store or to site to fulfil customer requirements. Strong negotiation skills. Provide overall support to the wider sales team to meet customer needs. To be a positive, willing and agile member of the team.

Skills & experience required ideally 2 years experience in a similar role and or within the building industry. Knowledge of SAP a bonus. Must have at least a basic understanding of building materials. Can do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for clients. Ability to think on your feet to solve problems. Excellent written and verbal communication.
