Customer Service Specialist Tribe (New Zealand) Limited location Auckland.

About the company our client is part of an international market leader with branches across New Zealand and Australia. They supply quality load restraint, cargo care, plastic pallets, tools and other products utilised within the transport sector. You will be based in their Auckland head office by Auckland Airport and you’ll be part of a wider team of 19 based in the head office. There is also parking onsite. They have an extremely down to earth culture and a mentality of mucking in to get things done.

About the role working alongside the Sales Representatives, Warehouse Team and Customer Services Team, we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to be first point of contact for customers based across New Zealand. If you are naturally customer centric, passionate about delivering amazing service and have excellent eye for detail, then this would be an amazing role for you.

Your day to day will include answering incoming calls from customers about product orders, following up on delivery times and investigating ETA on parcels. Processing customer orders by 4pm to ensure you meet courier and delivery times. Answer incoming emails from customers and processing their orders. Stock take – you might be required to support the warehouse with stock take once a year which happens on a Saturday. Ad hoc duties when and as required.

About you we look for those who have previous customer service experience ideally within the logistics, trades or transport sector. If you don’t have experience within these sectors, but feel you are customer centric, down to earth and enjoy being in a role which requires you to muck in and support your customers and the team in what needs doing, then we would love to hear from you.

Other things we look for previous phone-based experience is a must (minimum of 1-2 years). Reliability and commitment. High level of resilience and a strong ability to adapt to different situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Eligible to work in New Zealand, if on a visa you must have 6 months or more remaining. And most importantly, enjoying talking to people.
