Customer Service Representatives Ministry of Social Development location Wellington.

We are hiring motivated, strong communicators to provide exceptional customer service to our clients over the phone. Initially you will be trained on the Work & Income Contact Centre queues and later trained on supporting our clients through the student peak season. We need people who are tenacious, dependable and determined, even when the going is tough. Our organisation plays an important role in supporting New Zealanders. Simply put, people count on us.

About the role CSR’s navigate multiple systems at pace while on the phone. Our Contact Centres operate an integrated model, which means we support other MSD contact centre units across the country. CSR’s are often the first point of contact for clients and play an important role in providing the right advice, information and assistance to vulnerable New Zealanders.

The role is based in the StudyLink Contact Centre, Lower Hutt and you will be rostered for 37 hours and 55 minutes per week between the hours of Monday-Saturday 6:30 am – 10:00 pm.  You may also be required to work paid overtime on some weekdays, Saturdays and Public Holidays during various peak times.
