Customer Service Representative Madison Recruitment Ltd location Canterbury. Salary $47,000 per annum.

About your new job provide customers an excellent support experience from your work-from-home office. You will be the first point of contact for customers for a large, well known, teleco in NZ. The calls you will manage could be anything from basic technical support, problem solving, billing queries, to up-selling, retention and general queries.

Day to day you will be taking inbound customer communication through a variety of channels, predominantly phone and email. Aim for first call resolution and a satisfied and happy customer from every call. Deliver a top notch, positive customer interaction. Identify new opportunities for your customers and inform them accordingly.

Follow up on any complex issues that needed to be escalated and keep your customer up to date. Hours: Rotating rosters between 8am – 8pm, Mon - Sun (40 hours per week). Location: Your home! Anywhere in Christchurch. Start: ASAP – we are looking for individuals who can start immediately.

Work from Home FAQs you will need a dedicated workspace with a table/ desk and a chair that can be closed off for privacy from the rest of your ‘bubble’.  That means no TV on for your toddler with your partner on calls all day right across from you. Privacy is important to your customers.

What we are looking for from you proven experience in a contact centre environment. Good technical computer skills/ literacy. Driven to deliver an excellent customer experience in every interaction. Experience in a technical contact centre is a plus, but not essential. A positive and self-motivated attitude.

The ability to take on constructive criticism and be accountable for your work. High level of attention to detail, listening skills, and ability to strictly follow company processes. The ability to problem solve quickly and think outside the box. Be agile and happy to work in a changing environment.
