6-month contract. Fantastic full-time opportunity to work for a reputable government organisation. Office-based working located in Penrith NSW. $32.69 per hour plus super.

About our client join a large government organisation located in Penrith and have an important frontline service role within a central business unit.

Our client operates a large, shared service centre, delivering vocational education and training. They upskill over 500,000 students each year on their campus, workplace, online and through distance education methods.

This organisation is seeking a motivated and reliable problem-solver that can deliver excellent customer service during their peak activity period.

Your new role as a Customer Service Officer, you will have the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of customer service daily by resolving general enquiries and information requests from internal customers on matters relating to course inquiries.

Consult with the team and supervisor when dealing with complex enquiries or requests, and escalate when required. Process data efficiently and accurately to maintain the management of records. Work in a fast-paced environment utilising inbound and outbound channels of communication. Generate applications for enrolments and apply fee waivers.

What will help you succeed to be successful in this position you should effective listening, written and verbal communication skills. Problem solve, think critically about work tasks, and seek clarification when unsure. Work collaboratively as part of a team and show commitment to completing assigned work activities.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Experience within a contact center or customer service role is essential. Hold a valid working with children check (WWCC).
