About the role:

Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic and fit candidate to join us as a Customer Service Operator. The role will mainly involve working as a truck driver’s offsider, manually hand unloading plasterboard at various sites. When no deliveries are required, the role will involve working in a warehousing environment which duties include; picking orders and packing goods for delivery, loading and unloading trucks, working in pairs/ teams, operating forklifts, MHE and general warehousing duties.

This role reports to the Trade Store Manager and is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store in West Gosford.

Ability to demonstrate a positive, can-do, and friendly attitude, willing to work both on the floor in the warehouse, in the office to interact with customers directly and picking orders accurately is key to being successful in the role.

Responsibilities:

Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis
Regularly check & make up orders
Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
Loading/unloading customer vehicles
Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
General warehouse duties & house keeping

Must have:

A current forklift license is essential
Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
Picking, packing and dispatching experience
Microsoft Office skills to complete operational tasks
Enjoys working in a team environment
Team player, attention to detail, time management and organization skills
Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
Identifies development opportunities for self and team
Safety mindset and can do attitude
