Adecco are proud to be partnering with a Federal Government Department on a full time/casual recruitment project here in Canberra. We are currently looking for experienced customer service professionals to join our growing team for roles Commencing 23rd April 2020.

Description your role as a Customer Service Officer will be based in a call centre environment whereby you will be tasked with assisting customers with general phone-based queries and may include assessing eligibility and processing claims. You will ensure that evidence is accurate, and records are updated accordingly.
Profile you must be an Australian citizen and willing to submit documents in order to complete an entry level security check, consisting of a National Police clearance, Citizenship Status check and Identity check. Due to the sensitive and sometimes complex nature of queries, individuals will need to demonstrate a strong level of empathy, resilience, problem-solving and possess the ability to work within a highly process driven environment.
Your experience excellent customer service and administration skills proven capability to resolve customer issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency utilising multiple computer systems. Previous experience in a government department would be advantageous, yet not essential.
Job offer you will be expected to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday and will be rewarded with an hourly rate of $30.00 plus super. Previous Applicants need not reapply.
