About Us Revenue NSW is the state's principal revenue management agency. We are part of the Department of Customer Service (DCS). Our purpose is to contribute to a prosperous, safe and fair society by collecting revenue, resolving fines, administering grants and recovering debt. We support a flexible workplace with staff working remotely during this time. We have four home locations Parramatta, Gosford, Maitland and Lithgow, and staff are able to work from any of these locations.

About the role the Customer Service -Fines & Debt branch is responsible for customer interactions relating to fines and overdue debt. We are currently seeking to appoint 10 x Customer Service Officers to provide administrative support for the effective operation of the Fines Compliance & Assurance Business unit.

The Fines Compliance & Assurance Unit aims to maximise compliance through effective and efficient customer education programs, robust audit, and by making it easy for customers to comply. Fines Compliance & Assurance collaborate with internal business units and external agencies with information sharing, risk mitigation and identification of potential non-compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Superior problem solving, analysis and decision-making skills. Well-developed and accurate clerical, telephone and computer skills including word processing. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high processing team environment. Experience in applying legislation, policies and procedures is desired but not mandatory. A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service is mandatory.
