Customer Service Officer or Call Centre face2face Recruitment location Brisbane.

Description our Federal Government client is seeking experienced customer service/call centre officers.

Duties deliver high quality customer service, including provision of guidance, support and advice to job seekers suited to their individual needs. Assess and manage routine and non-routine inquiries to resolve issues. Assess the adequacy and quality of job seeker’s efforts in relation to their job search. Negotiate Job Plans and, where necessary, apply actions under the Targeted Compliance Framework (TCF) to job seekers who fail to meet their mutual obligation requirements.

Assist in identifying trends and systemic issues that might prevent job seekers from successfully engaging in digital self servicing. Liaise with employers regarding wage subsidies and assist eligible job seekers with support through the employment fund. Work flexibly in a rotating roster environment that includes scheduled breaks, structured hours and assigned tasks. Work with peers and internal stakeholders to achieve KPIS at both the branch and individual level.

Skills and Attributes demonstrated experience in a contact centre environment or the employment services industry (preferably jobactive), strong customer service and communication skills, ability to work autonomously, navigate complex information and use sound judgement in making decisions, strong digital literacy including the ability to navigate across multiple IT platforms in real time and type proficiently.
