About the opportunity we are looking for a positive, ‘can-do' person to play a key administrative role within The Orange Door, a dedicated service for families experiencing family violence.

The Customer Service Officer role is focused on the brokerage function within The Orange Door, where families can be provided with immediate financial and practical support to enhance their safety. Working collaboratively with your Kids First and TOD colleagues, you will ensure financial and administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. While not working directly with clients, your vital work will make a big impact in supporting their journey.

You will also communicate effectively with your Kids First and TOD colleagues to provide information for the processing of payments. Assist the Kids First Finance team to maintain an efficient, effective, and compliant financial management system. Maintain the preferred suppliers list and developing relationships with new suppliers as needed.

Maintenance of Kids First fleet used at The Orange Door. Seek process improvements including ensuring policies and procedures are documented, implemented, reviewed, improved, and remains fit for purpose. Undertake set administrative tasks, adhering to current intake processes and procedures and record client information accurately on The Orange Door Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Assist with Reception duties via the duty roster. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information is maintained at all times.

What we are looking for a minimum of two years of administration experience. Must have a 'can-do' attitude and a customer service focus. Previous experience in finance is desirable. Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous. Strong attention to detail.
