About this position Council is excited to have a Part time, fixed term contract available in its Customer Service team until 30 June 2022.

As a Customer Service Officer you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will enjoy providing assistance and advice across a broad range of topics, functions or issues. Have an understanding of council and community needs. Be an active listener and have great communication skills. Have the ability to problem solve and the tenacity to follow things through. Thrive in a team environment and have a positive can do attitude.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a customer service role. Experience in cash handling/banking. The proven capability to provide assistance and advice across a broad range of topics, functions or issues. To be successful, the candidate will also be required to complete a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance.
