Within Australasia Kerry Logistics Oceania have offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team in Auckland, located at Auckland International Airport. The successful candidate will have proven international freight forwarding industry experience (min 3 years) in a customer service role with cross-trade knowledge, complimented by exceptional relationship building abilities, to deliver end to end solutions to a portfolio of clients.

The key responsibilities of the role will include looking after a portfolio of clients, Cross-trade specialist, Order placement of orders with the origin offices. Ensuring import shipments are booked by overseas agents and monitoring the importation. Provide any costings, rates or quotes where needed. Provide clients with updated status of shipments. Liaise with shipping lines and forwarders. Ensure documentation is received for customs brokers to clear shipments and ensure that delivery is completed.

To be considered for this role, you must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, methodical and detail focused in follow through of tasks and the ability to work to deadlines. EDI Enterprise, freight forwarding software experience would be advantageous.
