Customer Service Officer Charterhouse location Melbourne. $30-$35 per hour.

25 – 30 hours per week, days of work are flexible. Local Government experience is advantageous. Previous experience in a high-volume call centre is essential.

You will be a part of an encouraging and inclusive team located in the eastern suburbs that places emphasis on the delivery of high-quality customer service experiences to members of the community. You will work as a team to ensure all inquiries that come through the call centre are resolved in a timely manner, with due diligence. You will work 25-30 hours per week.

You will be responsible for representing the call centre by acting as a first point of contact to members of the public. Liaising with other departments and completing any back office administrative tasks.

Delivering high quality customer service to a high-volume Call Centre while contributing to KPI’s, individually and as a team. Maintaining a great image of the Council in all your communications with members of the community.

To be successful you will have previous experience in both face to face and high-volume telephone customer services. The ability to learn and take on changes with a positive attitude. Great written and verbal communication skills. Proactive attitude to work and learning new systems. Dispute handling and problem-solving skills.
