Customer Service Officer Queensland Stoma Association Ltd location Brisbane.
Queensland Stoma Association Ltd (QSA) is seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer (CSO) to join our team. QSA is a registered charity providing support and surgical appliances to our members who have had surgery to treat a range of serious medical conditions, resulting in the creation of a stoma. QSA is based in Chermside.
About the role the Customer Service Officer will operate as a member of a small team within a customer focussed organisation and will be responsible for the delivery of a high level of customer service to QSA clients including providing information and guidance about the Commonwealth Government Stoma Appliance Scheme (Education and training in the operation of the Stoma Appliance Scheme will be provided).
Duties of the role will extend to the provision of leadership and guidance to other QSA Team Members as required, and to making decisions in relation to the more complex customer contact matters.
Employment Basis Casual with an opportunity to transfer to permanent part time. Hours Approx 24 - 30 per week over 4 days with flexible working arrangements subject to workload requirements. Award Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 (Classification Level 3). Probationary Period 3 months
Key duties and responsibilities the position is responsible for the delivery of a high level of customer service to QSA clients including having responsibility for the more complex telephone and email enquiries and the provision of information and guidance about the Commonwealth Government Stoma Appliance Scheme. The CSO will be required to provide leadership and guidance to other members of the QSA Team (Training in the operation of the Stoma Appliance Scheme will be provided.)
Essential qualifications experience working in customer service or similar roles within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for more complex customer service issues. Excellent interpersonal skills in working with customers and other team members.
Fast learner with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to change. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer literacy, including working with Microsoft 365 suite of products. The ability to provide a current National Police Check.
