About the role Council is looking for hard working individuals for Casual Customer Service Officer positions. The positions will be located within the Business Transformation Department and will be responsible for responding to and welcoming customers and visitors as they interact with Frankston City Council.
The main responsibilities will include responding to, referring and resolving enquiries from the public in an empathetic and timely manner. Providing information on Council’s services and facilities to customers and Council officers.
Resolving general telephone, counter and online enquiries from the public and provide written responses within the agreed corporate guidelines. Processing payments received from the public, ensuring they are receipted according to Council’s procedures.
Supporting the administration and delivery of Visitor Services, including the Frankston Visitor Information Centre, digital products, and roving programs. Presenting our Customer facing operations in an enticing and organised manner that is of a professional standard at all times; and Fostering and contributing to a team approach when working with volunteers.
About you as the successful candidate, you will have a demonstrated commitment to delivering an excellent standard of customer service. High level organisational and well-developed administrative skills. Technological skills to fulfil the requirements of the position.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. The ability to demonstrate behaviours in line with Frankston City Councils values of "Kinder, Fairer, Smarter"; and The ability to perform to a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIS).
