Customer Service Agent Air New Zealand location Gisborne.

Air New Zealand at Gisborne Airport have a Casual Customer Service Agent opportunity available. The casual contract can offer hours as and when required to assist with an increase in the domestic schedule. Working at Gisborne Airport, you will be part of a busy and pressured environment - one which demands a love of travel, people and a high level of resilience. Every customer has a different story, a different personality and a different culture so you will always be learning something new.

Our very busy team provides positive and friendly service to ensure customers have an efficient travel experience. There will be times of high pressure and tight deadlines so you will need to be resilient and able to adapt to change quickly. Your responsibilities will vary - from checking in customers, assisting passengers with special requirements, helping with disrupts and assisting with flight arrivals and departures.

Role requirements to be successful in this role, you will have strong frontline customer service experience and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers. Your excellent communication skills and professional, friendly manner will be critical to your success in this position. We value people who use their initiative and have good problem solving abilities.

You must also meet the following at the time of applying eligible to work in New Zealand permanently at the time of applying. Minimum Restricted or Full New Zealand Driver Licence with reliable transport. At least 18 months experience in a customer-facing service role, preferably in a high-pressure environment
