The position reporting through to the NSW Sales Manager, you’ll join as the newest member of our highly successful NSW Team of 50. As the 3rd member of our Customer Service Team, your primary objective will be to consistently deliver an exceptional ‘customer experience’ to each of the customers you interact with over the phone each day.
The key to your success, will be your ability to build great relationships with our customers, many of which you’ll speak with on a daily or weekly basis. The best thing about our industry is definitely the people, and once you’ve proven to our customer base that you’re there for them and that they can trust you, you’ll find that some of the relationships you establish will last a lifetime.
This role also involves lot’s of problem solving you’ll need to think ahead as you’ll be heavily involved with the planning and organisation of logistics each day. At Meyer Timber, we always deliver. We never let our customers down. Over time, you’ll reach a point where understand your customer’s needs so well that you can become proactive and forecast and predict what they need to order next.
Other important aspects of this dynamic role include working closely with our Sales Team as together Customer Service and Sales bring home our monthly sales result. Developing a sound knowledge of our diverse product range – we understand this will take time and will support you along this journey, however it’s important you come into the position wanting to learn and with the aim of being able to work towards confidently providing product advice to customers over the phone and continuous Improvement – at Meyer Timber we are always striving to become better at what we do. Thus you will play a key role in identifying and implementing improvements to our day to day practices and processes.
