About the role we are seeking an exceptional Customer Service Officer with a professional phone manner. You will be the first point of call for all incoming phone calls to the business, handling all customer inquiries with the singular focus of delivering a First Grade customer experience. If you are a positive, motivated and driven person, building relationships is your forté and you love working with customers to find what they want and create solutions, then we want to speak with you.

Key duties will include answering incoming calls to the business offering exceptional customer service. Processing customer orders into the computer system, while contacting customers regarding any queries to their orders and ensuring everything is accurate. File invoicing and customer orders. Updating customers regarding back orders. Assist outside sales staff to the best of your ability, providing and taking any information that is required.

To be a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following attributes proven experience working within sales/customer service will be highly advantageous, especially in the agriculture, steel, or timber trade industries.

Having a sales mindset driven by the buzz of delivering first class service and building relationships. Detailed understanding of the sales process and how to uncover a customer’s needs through asking questions, building relationships, and selling solutions. Comfortable in having thorough value-add sales conversations. Problem solving and having an inquisitive nature wanting to know how things work. Professional communication and interpersonal capabilities (written and verbal).

High level of attention to detail and phone mannerisms. Self motivated with high time management skills. Reliable work ethic and aptitude in learning new knowledge. Competent in using the internet, ERP Computer systems and Microsoft Office suite.
