Wild Wheat is looking for a weekend Customer Service Agent. Beginning in 1999, Wild Wheat is now in its 22nd year of operation, and from humble beginnings has grown into a bustling business consisting of six retail stores, an impressive portfolio of more than 600 wholesale customers and now boasts supply deals with premium grocery outlet Farro and meal kit services My Food Bag and WOOP.

Andrew Fearnside, founder and Head Baker, has built Wild Wheat with a health-based approach of ‘good food that is good for you.’ Famous for our sourdough products, we continue to collect awards for many products, including our famous kumara sourdough, and we’re consistently awarded praise for having some of the best hot cross buns in the country.

Our product is at the forefront of what we do, and there isn’t a better example of this than Andrew baking the traditional way with long ferments, hand-shaped and hearth baked, we take great pride in being a market leader with our sourdough breads.

Our wholesale department is going through changes and due to an internal promotion, a new role has been created. Operating from our bakery location of 58 Ascot Road, Mangere, we are looking for a dedicated and trusting team member to action wholesale orders on Saturday and Sunday, 1pm – 5pm.

We use Mountain Stream as the platform for all ordering, and your job would be to enter phone messages and emails into the system. You will need to have an eye for detail as accuracy is key, as well as having both strong written communication and time management skills.

Full training on the Mountain Stream platform will be given, but computer literacy is a must. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and confident in managing their own time and can see out a task from start to finish. You will be working independently and will require a confident level of problem-solving ability.
