Customer Service Hemisphere Freight location Auckland.

We are a New Zealand owned International Freight Forwarding company who due to growth is now seeking an experienced Import Operator/Customer Services representative who thrives in the fast-paced environment of international shipping & logistics. This role is a mix of Customer Service and Operations within our Import team.

Key Responsibilities include processing of import sea and air documentation. Liaising with overseas agents/customs brokers/cartage companies in order to arrange import clearances with all border agencies. Processing and responding to overseas agent enquiries. Key account management of import clients. Maintaining relationships with existing clients. Administrative duties pertaining to the role.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes have at least 1 year experience in New Zealand freight forwarding. Have accurate and efficient data entry skills. Be organised and able to manage effectively during peak periods. Have excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Someone who pursues excellence, enjoys decision making and has a passion for the industry. Must be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work visa and comply with preliminary and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
