Korero mo te turanga - About the role the Customer Enquiry Centre (CEC) is offering an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of MPI. The role came about as one of our Customer Enquiry (CE) coordinators has successfully secured a permanent role as an adviser, therefore we are now looking for a suitable candidate to bring passion and drive to fill the role.

The CEC provides a shared customer care service across all MPI services and knowledge support to our external contact centre, therefore you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of enquiries and projects to improve customer experience and delivery insights.

To be successful in this role, you will have a real passion for customer service, and a can-do attitude. This means understanding problems and providing solutions that delight. You will be someone who loves dealing with different people and drawing on different perspectives to provide support and solutions to our customers. Within the team, we promote a culture where staff are empowered to bring fresh perspectives to issues, think outside the box and contribute to continuous improvement of the Ministry.

Mou - about you we are looking for people with the following skills and experience delivering a high standard of customer service to a range of internal and external customers. Problem solving and first contact resolution. Multitasking and priority setting. Team work to achieve goals and performance targets. Excellent communication skills and well-developed critical thinking skills.
