About the opportunity MHIAA have fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Assistant to become an integral part of our friendly and energetic NSW team. This is a 10 month fixed-term Maternity Leave Contract. The position will require the successful candidate to work 10:00am to 6:00pm. The key requirements of the role include reconciliation of collections for australia and new zealand, conducting company trade references, creating and sending out invoices, purchase orders and proof of delivery, assisting credit manager to manage overdue accounts and ensure the credit policy is implemented effectively, compilation and issue of monthly customer statements, creation of customer cards in navision, follow up of customer applications regarding missing and/or incorrect information, approval of orders and invoices, compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies and procedures and general administration duties. The preferred candidate will have tertiary qualifications in accounting (degree or diploma), minimum 2 years in similar role, have high level office administration skills (including ms office products), intermediate to advanced excel skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail, organisational and prioritising skills, have a high level of data entry accuracy.
