Corporate Services Officer New Zealand Customs Service location Wellington.
The New Zealand Customs Service is seeking two Corporate Services Officers to support the Corporate Services team based at the Wellington Customhouse. These roles are permanent full-time positions. The Corporate Services team is part of the wider Finance, Technology and Infrastructure Group and is responsible for providing sustainable, efficient and effective corporate services within Customs.
Key responsibilities to this role will be purchasing goods and services, including obtaining quotes, raising purchase requisitions and goods & services receipting. General motor vehicle fleet maintenance. Uniform ordering, issue and recording duties. Mail and courier distributions. Arranging building services repairs and maintenance. Office equipment maintenance and replacement. Staff and visitor passes and security access card programming and issue. General administrative tasks including some reception functions.
As a Corporate Services Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality services and administrative functions as required by Customs. Ideally you'll have previous experience in a customer-focused role where your professional attitude, calm manner and sound judgement, ensure quality standards are maintained.
