Your new role

As the Manager, Financial Strategy & Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how the organisation approaches financial management. You will work closely with managers and coordinators to embed strong financial understanding, improve forecasting accuracy, and support effective decision‑making. Your expertise will guide the development of budgets, long‑term financial plans, and fees and charges, ensuring accountability, transparency, and compliance at every step. This role also leads the Management Accounting team, promoting collaboration, excellence, and professional development while continuously improving organisational financial processes and systems.

Develop and lead a Finance Business Partnering model, building strong relationships with managers and coordinators to support branch and section budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
Manage the preparation and ongoing review of the organisation’s Budget, Long Term Financial Plan, and Fees and Charges.
Provide high‑quality financial advice, analysis, insights, and reporting to improve decision‑making, communication, and operational performance.
Oversee all financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, appropriate risk identification, and the implementation of effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure financial systems and processes comply with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and accounting standards.
Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit activities related to systems, policies, and procedures.
Design and deliver training programs for staff in the use of financial systems, policies, and procedures.
Lead the Management Accounting team, including goal setting, coaching, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture aligned with organisational goals.
Drive continuous improvement across financial policies, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and organisational capability.
Implement best‑practice financial management approaches and streamline processes to support organisational excellence.
What you'll need to succeed

CPA/CA qualification

Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience leading teams and developing capability.
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
High-level understanding of budgeting, planning, financial systems, and compliance requirements.
