Description
We're an exciting new Italian wine bar launching in the heart of Brunswick. Our concept is inspired by the relaxed elegance of Italian enotecas, offering an exceptional selection of Italian and local wines, aperitivi, artisanal cocktails, and a curated menu of small plates that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute a rotating menu of small plates and Italian-inspired dishes
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in all food
Assist in daily prep, kitchen setup, and pack down
Manage food storage, labelling, and hygiene practices to the highest standard
Collaborate on menu development with the owner/chef
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Work independently and as part of a small team during service
About You:
Cooking experience in a professional kitchen (Italian experience a bonus)
Comfortable with prep, line work, and plating in a fast-paced environment
Passion for seasonal produce, simple flavour-driven food, and Italian cuisine
Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
Holds relevant food safety certification
Positive attitude and willingness to grow with a new team
