Conveyancing Officer Waterfind location Adelaide.

Waterfind is Australia's leading water trading company that facilitates the buying and selling of permanent and temporary water across all major irrigation regions in Australia. Waterfind is seeking to appoint a Conveyancing Officer, with accountability for ensuring efficient and accurate completion of trade processing, lodgement and settlement tasks.

Responsibilities include timely and accurate processing of temporary and permanent water trades. Preparing trade settlement documentation. Liaise with customers (both internal and external) and water authorities to manage and process water trades. Deliver excellent customer service including provision of timely and accurate advice in relation to services provided and water trades being processed.

Maintain the accuracy of the online trade tracker. Engender a team environment by promoting respect, consideration and cooperation. Work with Manager to improve trade and settlement procedures and systems. Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of project management and consultancies as required. Assist other Waterfind departments as required.

To be successful in this role you must meet the following essential requirements Australian conveyancing qualifications (Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing) and current conveyancing registration. 3-7 years’ prior work experience in dealing with conveyancing, financial services, property, para-legal, insurance, accounting and/ or retail sectors.

Experience with document and transaction processing. Experience in a systems-based processing and settlements environment. Experience in project management, specifically government and commercial projects, tenders and consultancies.

Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Demonstrated experience in a customer service role. Demonstrated experience in problem-solving. Demonstrated qualities of task ownership with a conscientious “can do” attitude. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel). Conceptual and analytical thinking. Keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills at all levels of an organization. Ability to maintain an emotional balance when dealing with sensitive issues Ability to maintain confidentiality.
