Knowledge, skills & experience reporting to the Managing Editor you will have worked in the Singapore publishing industry and love being in the know. You will have experience editing and have lots of creative ideas that you just can’t wait to brief. You will have experience with digital media and have a firm understanding of search and its role in driving traffic and engagement.

Roles & responsibilities come up with content ideas, update existing posts, write original content and manage and edit contributors as and when needed. Edit posts and schedule them on the backend. Compile the weekly newsletters and upload them in the backend. Write round ups/feature story. Draft advertorials based on detailed briefs.

Draft Sassy Mama marketing text and materials as needed. Support and foster a collaborative relationship with the sales and marketing team. Represent Sassy Mama SG at events organised by sales and marketing team where necessary to build and maintain business relationships.

Other responsibilities may include answers editorial inquiries. Answers Facebook messages. Post topical article on Facebook to increase user interaction (ex: link to local news story on educational topic; the latest hilarious family/kid viral video, etc., etc.). Act as a Sassy Mama Ambassador by attending industry events, including press events, shop openings, etc.

Build new and manages existing relationships with local PR agencies and vendors. Proactively asking for event updates and making sure events are covered. Projects including helping to write and edit print productions, Sassy Mama Awards, internal press releases, etc.
