Good Change – Content Creator and Marketing Associate. 15 hrs per week over three days in our new Te Puna, Tauranga office.

You are arriving at a very exciting time of growth with an opportunity to further develop your skills.  We are looking for an enthusiastic Content Creator & Marketing Associate to be a part of our team and you will be working from our new office in Te Puna, Tauranga.

What you’ll be doing generating unique, funny, aspirational content that entertains, makes people laugh, smile and get to know our brand & feel part of our journey to eliminate plastic waste from households, using the best products on the market. Manage content in a professional manner, organised schedules for all content, tailored to the specific channels – and delivering to the content frequency KPI.

Developing new social media channels , create strategies for these and keeping a close eye on the metrics such as CTR, Sales rate and general engagement metrics. Work closely with the Marketing Manager on all our campaigns including email design and copy. Writing blog posts in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.

Manage influencer campaigns and contact. Keeping website up to date alongside the Marketing Manager. Attend online training to further learn and develop. You’ll be given free-creative-reign to come up with awesome ideas in collaboration with the company founders.

You will then action and test those ideas in a fast-paced environment. Your input will help us grow rapidly online and increase retention & community engagement.

We’re looking for someone who is creative with a sharp aesthetic eye (fun content that also looks good). High degree of initiative (you get stuff done). Detail-oriented, organised & super efficient. Interested in training, learning and growing in the role. Positive, fun and full of beans. Smart & a quick learner.

Passionate do-er: at Good Change we implement ideas very quickly, so you must be able to work in a nimble environment and take ownership of implementing your ideas.

Honest there’s a lot of greenwashing out there and a large degree of skepticism when it comes to eco products, which is understandable. We create super transparent content to show and tell the truth to our customers. Fluent English speaker. Not afraid to feature on social media content.

Skills and experience to be considered for this role you will need to have (at a minimum) experience in content creation (such as your own social media accounts, hobbies or even experience from another e-commerce brand). Experience in planning and organising content.

Knowledge of basic video editing – for example using smart-phone editing apps. Excellent communications skills (written & verbal) and a keen eye on spelling. Experience or ideas of how AI can help you work more efficiently in your work.

Familiarity with different social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and a good knowledge of putting together creative reels.

An understanding of how to sell on social media and be willing to learn and improve sales rate from social media. Knowledge of email marketing software like Klaviyo would be ideal but not essential. Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus but not a requirement. Ability to work the 15 weekly hours over 3 days from our Te Puna office.
