Gain contact centre experience with one of the world's leading airlines who have built a reputation for excellence in customer service, safety, and operational reliability. We're looking for multiple temporary Contact Centre Consultants beginning early next month (Monday 4 December).

This role is based in the heart of Auckland city, close to the hustle and bustle of Queen Street. During the training period you will be required to work on site Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5.00pm. Once training is complete you will move into a rotating roster which will include weekends (five work days with two rostered days off - you will get this in advance).

You'll be joining a multicultural team who are dedicated to providing extensive training and ongoing support to make sure you fly onwards and upwards in your career. Whilst this may be a temporary opportunity to begin with, our client is also seeking excellent permanent staff members so there may be an opportunity to secure a permanent full time role for the right candidate during your assignment.

Start date Monday 4th December 2023 to 30th June 2024 (potential to become a permanent team member). Location Auckland CBD offices. Hours Full time (40 hours per week). Training will be Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will then be on a seven day rotating roster including weekends. Pay $23 per hour + 8% holiday pay accrued weekly.

The role responding to inbound queries. Providing excellent customer service. Assisting with bookings and managing existing reservations with general travel and airlines enquiries. Provide information to customers relating to airfares, airline procedure, and airline products such as partner airline loyalty program.

The ideal candidate will have a passion to serve customers with a positive 'can-do' attitude. Previous experience within a Customer Service capacity - retail, hospitality or phone based role is desirable. Basic knowledge of computer office applications (i.e. Microsoft office suite). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivation and resilience. New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Flexibility to work on a 7 day rotating roster basis.
