Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Concierge team member – Porter / Valet in the heart of Brisbane City, Australia! We're looking for a friendly and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to our guests and visitors.
Greet and assist guests upon arrival, offering a warm welcome and providing information about the property and local attractions
Manage luggage handling, including carrying and transporting bags to and from guest rooms
Operate valet parking services, safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles
Assist with guest requests and inquiries, ensuring prompt and courteous service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas
Provide directions and recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Assist with special events and VIP arrivals as needed
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and local area information
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs
Effective time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
A true desire to work, grow and develop in the guest facing operations of a luxury city hotel
An enthusiastic approach, excellent attention to detail and superior customer service skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Friendly personality paired with professionalism and a high standard of personal presentation
Open driver’s license (Manual Desirable)
Physical strength with the ability to safely lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods
Ability to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends.
