Our role you will provide communications advice and services to Kāinga Ora business groups. This is a true generalist communication role, working in relatively small and busy team providing support across a range of areas from external communications and media support through to content creation and social media.

Working in a fast paced and complex environment, you'll enjoy supporting motivated and enthusiastic leaders and be part of making a real difference to our customers' lives. This is an intermediate level role and a great opportunity for someone to develop and grow, working alongside savvy and experienced senior comms advisors to deliver strategy-led, best in class external communications support and advice.

What you will bring you're a natural self-starter and can share ideas and solutions collaboratively. To be a success in this role you will demonstrate a background and broad experience in communications and/or media. The demonstrated ability to write well and communicate a narrative that keeps our audiences well informed and engaged. Public sector communications experience within central or local government is preferred. Exceptional relationship management skills, coupled with a natural aptitude for strategic planning.
