About the role we are looking for a leader in commercial property procurement to join our team. Reporting to the Team lead property Procurement, you will oversee the Wise Group's leased commercial portfolio, providing strategic and technical guidance to ensure our tenants' needs are met. You will play a key role in identifying new properties, negotiating leases, managing budgets, and coordinating move and expansion projects. This position offers the opportunity to shape our property strategy while enhancing tenant knowledge and capabilities across the Group.
Some of your responsibilities may include develop commercial portfolio strategies that get the best solutions for our customers by taking a strategic and sustainable view. Manage communications with all stakeholders effectively, ensuring clarity and connection throughout the property negotiation and management processes.
Being your best at all times, representing WMS and the Wise Group in a professional manner. Support development of strong systems and organisational knowledge - use evidence and influence to create new opportunities. You'll be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work from both home and the office. Our office is based in Hamilton East.
Skills & experience you will have excellent knowledge of the national commercial property markets. A solid understanding of the Property Law Act, ADLS lease documents, compliance, risk, and controls. Financially savvy. Ideally with experience in reconciling against budget and forecasting.
Be proficient in using Microsoft Suite, excellent time management and the ability to work effectively and confidentially when under time constraints. Experience in asset management, preferably in a commercial or residential environment.
