A little bit about the role Phoenix Metal Recyclers is a full-service professional scrap metal recycling company with 19 yards nationwide and a network throughout New Zealand. A little bit about the role the Commercial Finance Manager is an exciting newly created role which will assist the CFO with the overall growth of the business. The primary purpose of this role is to support the CFO with Financial Reporting, Compliance, Budgeting/Forecasting, Cash Management and to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. In addition, this role will be a member of the Finance SLT and will deliver fantastic customer service internally to support rapid growth and expansion of the multi-branch network across Aotearoa.

Key responsibilities include the following financial Planning & Analysis, Business Partnering, Strategic Planning, Staff Management, Reporting and Analysis, Compliance & Risk management.

So who are you and what is your profile you will be Big 4 trained with 3+ years’ experience working in commercial organisations under your belt, a background in Audit or BAS would be a real advantage. This is a key role as the business looks to grow and scale in the coming years so any experience with Board/Exec Management reporting and financial analysis would be ideal.

The role will also require someone with Advanced MS Excel and a high level of problem-solving skills. The role comes with a competitive salary, bonus and the chance to work in the company’s new office which will be based in Newmarket.
