Our client, Access Mercantile based in Melbourne’s South East are seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join their customer service team! As a result of business growth they are looking for candidates that will demonstrate a strong customer service focus that will be confident, proactive & professional in communicating with customers dealing with financial hardships or change in circumstance.

About the role managing inbound and outbound calls utilising communication, empathy and negotiation skills.  Assist with resolving disputes, claims and payments. Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and investigations. Working towards business KPI’s.

The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience in debt recovery. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Customer service skills specifically the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Experience in taking payments & negotiating payment schedules. Ability to have difficult conversation with customers and remain professional. High level of attention to detail and ability to keep detailed records. High level of resilience. Commencing immediately this is a full-time position with hours of work rostered between 8:30AM to 6PM Monday to Friday on rotation.
