Collections Officer Symmetry HR – VIC Commercial location Melbourne, CBD & Inner Suburbs. Salary $45k - $60k plus Super + monthly commission, training and support provided with clear career progression pathways, customer service, sales or collection experience in call centre environment, full time permanent position in a leading debt recovery organisation. The opportunity we are currently in search for dedicated and experienced call centre professionals to join one of the leading Debt Recovery organisations within Australia. We are looking for candidates with experience in Collections who are seeking permanent full time employment with a company where they can grow and advance their career. Located on St Kilda Road, our client provides a steady and friendly work environment with very approachable managers and team Leaders. There are plenty of opportunities for growth within the business and you'll be rewarded with a salary as well as the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses which are uncapped. Top performers are earning upwards of$3000 in commission per month. Our client services a range of different industries including but not limited to banking and finance, utilities, government, telecommunications, insurance. About the role as a collections officer you will be speaking with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. You'll be good at listening, empathising and delivering excellent customer service to help the customer to pay back their debt. You will be taking inbound calls as well as making outbound calls in the contact centre. This is a full time position working on a rotating roster. Shifts are Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift. Hours of business are between 8am - 8pm. Saturday shifts will differ slightly. Reporting to managers and team leaders, you will be responsible for the following duties contacting overdue customers by telephone, sms or email, negotiating and monitoring payment plans, ensure complete and consistent compliance to regulatory requirements, applicable legislation, and company policies and procedures, liaising with various departments to solve queries, handling sensitive cases with regard to hardship, investigating and skip tracing. About you to be considered for this role we're looking for the following attributes contact centre experience is essential, previous collections or call centre sales experience is desirable, experience in the banking and finance, telecommunications and insurance is desirable, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation skills, strong problem solving ability, positive attitude and flexibility, quick leaner, resilience and patience.
