Collection Officer Geneva Finance location Auckland. Salary $50,000 - $59,999.

Stella Collections is part of the Geneva Finance Limited and is currently located in Mt Wellington, Auckland. Over the years we have grown to become a well-respected finance company known for our no-nonsense approach and fast results for mostly car loans.

Our collection team manage front end collections through to repossession, legal and recovery. It also covers customer service inquiries for all accounts held. Which means that you will be dealing with different types of people all day. This position has become available due to the resignation of one of our valued team whom has decided to leave the workforce and we wish them well.

About you we are seeking a full-time collection officer join a team of 12 to assist to manage our collection portfolio. This is not a typical Collection role as you will be required to take inbound customer service calls as well as make outbound calls to make suitable arrangements with our clients to find solutions for both parties in their overdue payments.

The role would be suitable for someone with a background in currently in a Customer Service, or Credit Control role in the Finance/insurance industries. We do not use a dialler and currently use Fin-power connect system – knowing this system will be of great advantage but full training will be made available to the right person.

Key responsibilities numerical accuracy and attention to detail so to get it right first time. Developing and maintaining client relationships. Good communication skills (both written and verbal). Working well in a team environment, producing focused and great results. Ability to work under pressure and still delivering great service. Keeping up to date with all policies, procedures and technology. Excellent customer service focus.

You will work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines/time frames. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be a fast learner with excellent attention to detail. Be well organized and have the ability to prioritize. Be highly motivated and have the ability to work autonomously.

Ideally you will also have prior relevant experience within a collection or customer service team.
