Hawk is a privately owned provider of sustainable moulded fibre packaging solutions to the pipfruit and avocado industry. With a focus on manufacturing high quality products and continuous improvement, we are maintaining our position as market leader and have exciting plans for further growth. As part of our fully-integrated process, we have an in-house tooling workshop, where the moulds and tools which form the backbone of our production process are designed and made.

We are looking for a fully experienced CNC Machinist to work both autonomously and as part of a small team, to program and run Fanuc CNC Mills and use manual turret mill and Centre lathe. In addition, you will be responsible for machining parts for maintenance and breakdown requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified by apprenticeship.

To be considered, you must be reliable and have the following comprehensive skills and experience as a CNC Machinist. The ability to take full responsibility to run Fanuc CNC mills. Must be able to use manual turret mill and centre lathe.Knowledge and proven ability of hand finishing tools. Good dexterity and a thorough approach to your work, along with a high attention to detail. Be self-driven, motivated and have the ability to work autonomously to finish projects.

Great communication skills. A willingness to learn. Good time management. Knowledge of MasterCam or another Cam software, and experience with Fagor programming would be advantageous.
