Cluster Marketing Executive Rydges Auckland location Auckland.

Rydges are on the hunt for a Cluster Marketing Executive to support two hotels. This exciting position is not for the faint-hearted, and involves a huge amount of engagement, dedication, passion and drive. Literally no two days are alike and you’ll utilise your marketing prowess experience and creative flair to drive strategies to maximise Accommodation, Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage revenue.

Then this role is perfect for you. Your responsibilities encompass two restaurants with a focus on driving capture, increasing spend and ensuring customer satisfaction. You’ll be managing their promotions, supporting their social and digital channels and overseeing sponsorships, partnerships, private dining and important events.

Based in the CBD, this exciting opportunity collaborates closely with both General Managers, F&B Ops, Sales and the NZ Marketing team. You’ll join a team that is passionate about delivering the ultimate customer experience, where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in what we do.

Responsibilities drive the Marketing Campaign calendar and lead the local promotion and activation strategies for each property to ensure growth of room , Meetings and Events and F&B revenue. Develop content for the website, eDM, digital assets and third party sites.

With support from National Marketing, manage the Social Media plan & calendar including content production, photo shoots and  community management in line with the marketing plan and campaign calendars. Drive local commercial partnerships and work with local tourism organisations and industry associations. Regular reporting, KPI tracking and work-in-progress documentation.

Skills work collaboratively as part of the team and with clear expectations. Think creatively to implement innovative ideas and solutions, while still maintaining a systematic and logical approach to achieving outcomes. Exceptional copy writing skills. Build and maintain strong commercial partnerships. Manage multiple projects at one time and work towards tight deadlines. Strong idea presentation and detail-orientation. Be responsible for own areas of accountability and take ownership for own behaviour and decisions.

What we’re looking for at least 3 years proven Marketing/Communications experience. Previous hospitality experience would be ideal. Passion and a strive to be better than yesterday, everyday. Proven experience in the development and delivery of successful and results–driven marketing campaigns.

Good project management skills and attention to detail, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy. Experience with Social Media content. Be able to design creative assets using the Adobe suite. Have a ‘can do’ attitude and are willing to step outside the box for the team.
