Headspace Whitsundays is a youth service supported by headspace Mackay and run under lead agency North and West Remote Health to deliver services to youth aged 12 – 25 years. We’re looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated person to join our team. Headspace Whitsundays is now seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their team in Proserpine (22.8 hours a week) and provide professional and confidential administration services to support effective service delivery and day-to-day functioning of the satellite centre.

In this role, you will be the face of headspace and will welcome young people to the centre. Reporting to the Office Coordinator, you will work proficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively with all headspace centres staff across Sarina, Mackay and the Whitsundays.

Successful candidates will receive an excellent salary of up to $29.10 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience, plus 10.5% super.

A fantastic range of ADDITIONAL benefits will also be provided, including salary sacrificing options up to $15,900. 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading (pro rata). Skills and experience. The right candidate will have/be working toward suitable qualifications in Business, administration, youth work or similar.

In addition, you will need minimum 2 years’ experience working in an administrative and/or reception role within a similar environment. Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines. A current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence  and the right to live and work in Australia.

Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12 – 25-year old’s, along with assistance in promoting young people's wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.
