Bayside Counselling and Consultation is seeking additional Client Services Assistant/Receptionist to join our team to support our continued growth.

About us bayside Counselling and Consultation is a well-established and busy private practice psychology clinic with offices in Seaford, Glen Waverley and Cranbourne (satellite office). We provide treatment for clients with mental health problems.

We are looking for a Client Services Assistant/Receptionist who can provide good attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy with a caring and friendly nature. Most importantly, it would be best if you were intelligent / switched on, hard-working, and with a positive attitude.

This is a busy role so you will enjoy the fast pace, and the day goes quickly. As a casual of Bayside Counselling and Consultation, you will be trained in the Seaford office. After the training period, we will offer a fixed shift and cover sick leave and annual leave.

Duties of Client Services Assistant/Receptionist role manage bookings for a team of 13 clinicians (across three locations) via the practice management system. Provide excellent customer service to the clients. Liaise with the third parties. Manage incoming phone and email inquiries promptly and efficiently.

Maintain records in the practice management system, ensuring client confidentiality. Requirements of Client Services Assistant/Receptionist. Experience working in a medical or/and an allied health clinic is preferred. Able to cover other shifts in our main office (Seaford) is preferred.

Able to attend the training in the Seaford office. Knowledge of Medicare items and processing system. Excellent computer and organisation skills required. Excellent customer service and communication skills in dealing with clients. Be efficient and accurate with extreme attention to detail – essential.

Ability to multitask, ensuring efficient systems are in place for the smooth running of reception/front desk. Must enjoy being busy with the ability to remain calm. Be well presented, professional, mature and reliable. Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Able to cover practice opening hours between 9 am to 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Have a current National Police Clearance, no older than 12 months. Have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
