Cleaning Attendant Sydney Trains location Sydney.

Cleaning Attendant. Permanent Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available. Attractive rate of $982.55 per week (pro-rata) plus 9.5% superannuation, allowances, 5 weeks annual leave (for shift workers) and monthly ADO. Positions available at various locations across the Sydney Trains Network.

We are currently recruiting for Permanent Part Time and Full Time Cleaning Attendants working within the Customer Service team.  We are offering opportunities across the Sydney Trains Network, including Sydney CBD, Inner West, South, West, North and Illawarra.

About the role as a Cleaning Attendant, you will provide consistent and high quality cleaning services in maintaining the presentation of our trains and stations. You will take pride in the work you do, providing high quality, visible cleaning services to deliver a first class customer experience for the travelling public.

You will play a key part in ensuring Sydney Trains’ delivers on its strategic objective of improving customer satisfaction and levels of cleanliness for our services. As a Cleaning Attendant you will also comply with the applicable cleaning manual and undertake any prescribed work schedules and requests for ad hoc cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.

Cleaning tasks include cleaning of trains (surfaces, litter, passenger amenities and train external cleanliness) and station cleanliness (cleanliness of platform, passenger amenities and litter). Both cleaning of trains and station cleanliness will include cleaning toilets and work Health and Safety Cleans (vomit, blood, urine). Successful applicants will receive full orientation and training at time of commencement.

To be eligible to apply you must meet the following requirements. 18 years of age or older. successfully meet National Police Check and medical requirements. an Australian / New Zealand citizen or have permanent residency in Australia. available to work within a 24 hour rotating roster including shift work, weekends and public holidays across the network. Having worked in a similar environment is highly desirable.
