About Godfreys is a wholly New Zealand owned and operated Chartered Loss Adjusting firm, with offices in major centres across the country. We are an associate of Crawford & Company, one of the world’s premier loss adjusting and claims management companies; but operate autonomously in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Our focus lies in managing commercial and complex claim situations for local insurers, international and niche insurance underwriters, the legal profession and self-insured organisations. We presently have vacancies for Claims Technicians on a flexible, work from home basis.

About the role as a Godfreys Claims Technician you will play a crucial role in processing and managing insurance claims efficiently and empathetically. This position offers complete flexibility in hours, allowing you to work from any location and adjust your working hours based on your personal and professional needs. During surge and catastrophe events, we would look to increase your hours to meet demand.

Key responsibility is to process and manage insurance claims, including desktop claims, run off files; and provide general assistance to Loss Adjusters to deliver on our KPIs. This means collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless claims process, liaising with contractors/suppliers and insurers in a clear and timely manner, communicating empathetically with claimants and provide excellent customer service.

We're looking for highly organised, empathetic professionals with a strong attention to detail and a robust work ethic. People with excellent written and oral communication skills, insurance industry experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office apps.
