Well established across New Zealand, their team prides itself on delivering exceptional outcomes for a wide range of clients, including Surveying, Planning, Civil and Structural Engineering.
The role in this role you will contribute directly to a variety of land development projects from initial concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include the design and development of subdivisions, roads, and essential infrastructure.
You'll be responsible for conducting site assessments & construction monitoring, you'll work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities, and ensure that project standards and regulatory requirements are met.
What we're looking for we’re looking for a qualified and experience candidate, with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering, particularly in land development.
As an experienced Graduate Engineer, we expect you'll a moderate fundamental understanding of New Zealand codes and standards (NZS3910 in particular) and a good knowledge of the design processes of civil engineering.
You should have experience going to and from site and capable of conducting site inspections, provide construction monitoring and detailed engineering reports, and be comfortable coordinating with contractors, clients and the wider engineering team.
As part of the design team yourself, you'll need to be proficient with design software including AutoCAD/Civil3D to produce designs and models across a range of civil land development and infrastructure projects.
