They are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team and help drive their continued success and growth.
The role as the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, strategy, and governance within AS Wilcox & Sons. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial future, ensuring alignment with our business goals and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making across the business. Oversee financial reporting and compliance functions. Have a continuous improvement approach to all things related to systems and processes.
Manage cash flow, capital expenditure, and investment initiatives. Ensure financial governance, risk management, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive performance improvement and cost-efficiency.Lead and mentor the finance, IT and admin team to build capability and accountability.
About you, to succeed in this role, you will be an experienced financial leader with a proven track record, preferably in the agricultural or FMCG sectors. You will possess strong commercial acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Key requirements ca/CPA or equivalent qualified with significant experience in a senior financial leadership role. Strong understanding of financial regulations and corporate governance.
Experience in the agriculture, horticulture, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable. Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with financial operations. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
