Chief Financial Officer Bona Fide Consulting location Canterbury. $200,000.

Our client is well-established in the international market, and is now ready to put their growth strategy into action, including the development of new D2C channels. If you have strong commercial acumen, and would enjoy a balance of strategy and execution (i.e. rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail), we need to be talking.

The role responsible for ensuring the overall financial health and success of the company, the CFO is a key leadership role so you will play a massive part in the strategic direction of the business, providing the financial data and insights beyond the numbers to support sound decision making.

Reporting to the directors, key responsibilities include comprehensive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics and identifying key issues, trends, risks, developments and interdependencies across the business to assist in strategic decision making.

Monitoring financial performance by overseeing cash flow, cash management, stock management (multiple sku's), invoicing, fx and treasury management, overseas transactions and direct sales through web and third party portals.

Oversight of the integrity of data/systems within the business and scope to engage experts if required to implement new fit for purpose software solutions that ensure accurate data collection & reporting. Design of business kpi's such as profitability of customers and products and roi analysis.

Leadership of a dedicated team of experts across international sales, international marketing and accounting, to ensure the achievement of collective results. Financial modelling for new projects and long term planning - you will always be one step ahead, aware of new business trends and developments and dedicated to leading operational excellence and efficiencies within the business.

About you to be successful in this role you will excel in financial management and have proven experience helping businesses achieve sustainable growth. You will be optimistic, analytical and focused on working collaboratively to achieve results.

You will have a broad background across commercial finance and accounting with tangible experience in business growth initiatives and confidence engaging with senior leaders to drive financial accountability, outcomes and performance.

Qualifications/experience required ca/cpa qualification preferred. At least 5 years experience in public practice accounting and 5 years' experience in a commercial/corporate environment. Well developed financial and analytical capability. Super user of erp systems.
