Chef, Nhulunbuy Northern Territory, Hospitality & Tourism Chefs, Package plus superannuation Full time Seasonal Contract, We are looking for an experienced chef to join our small team. We are a small tourism operation that caters for in house guests during the week and lunches service for Day Trip visitors on weekends. The Retreat located on Bremer Island, off the coast of Nhulunbuy Northern Territory.

Key responsibilities extensive knowledge of cooking techniques. Ability to work autonomously. Passion for guest service and experience. Observes and execute methods of food preparation and cooking, size of portion, and garnishing of food. Personal grooming standards suited to a guest focused business. Prepare meals for staff working on shifts.

Skills & Capabilities we think are ideal strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Australian cuisine and Industry Standards. Demonstrated ability to run a small team in a busy environment, Menu planning. Must have passion for food and an eye for detail. Proven track record of stock management, rostering and Health & Safety. Work well in a team environment and be self-motivated. Food Management. Quality control.
