About the opportunity:

As the Cheese Production Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring high-quality product preparation and timely distribution to our network.

What you offer us:

Manage stock ordering based on AWS data and forward forecasting

Hands-on preparation: cutting, packing, and pricing cheese products

Ensure timely supply to the Brave Distribution Centre

Supervise, train, and lead a team of 2-4 staff

Maintain high product quality and presentation standards

Manage staff rosters and daily workflow

Ensure compliance with food safety standards, documentation, and traceability

Take ownership of financial performance, including: Monthly stocktakes, Invoice and transfer management (including credits) and Driving net profit outcomes

Skills and experience required for the role:

Proven experience in food production, deli, or fresh food environments

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and oversee a small team

Experience in stock control, ordering, and forecasting

Hands-on ability to prepare, cut, pack, and present products to a high standard

Solid understanding of food safety standards, documentation, and traceability

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent communication and team-building skills
