The company boasts a great culture with a passionate and high achieving team in a great location just south of the CBD. Incredible opportunity to join an already developed business just prior to international expansion.

The role this company is looking for a part-time permanent CFO in a stand-alone end-to-end role with the following key responsibilities build executive style Board reports with both Financial and Operational metrics and commentary. Develop financial models in particular valuation modeling.

Improve the cash flow modelling, planning and monitoring.Play a key role in future capital raising or debt funding. Set up the company for success from a tax, financial and administrative perspective as it expands into numerous international jurisdictions over the next 6 to 12 months. Review contracts to ensure commercial terms are favourable.

Understand international impacts and minimise risk and costs, including but not limited to FX and import duties. Potentially drive future M&A activities. Develop improved forecast and budget models and reporting. Play a key role with the Board of Directors and Investors.

Own risk and governance. Manage transactional finance including payroll, BAS, A/R, A/P. Drive the R&D tax rebate annual process. Manage the banking arrangements. Create policies and procedure documentation. Develop critical reporting including non-financial (sales, inventory etc). Understand the manufacturing process and look for ways to improve inventory management.

Who You Are CA or CPA qualified. 10+ years of relevant experience. Hands-on, this is a stand-alone role with some external and admin support so it requires someone who can do all aspects of finance from transactional to exec level. Worked in Med-Tech (medical devices), Manufacturing or inventory/physical product-based business.

MYOB experience. Experience in an international business environment. Strong cash flow experience. Equity or debt raising experience. Strong presence with Board of Directors and investors. Willing to work part-time with potential for additional days depending on the stage and growth of the business. Proactive and a leader.
