In response to our growing pipeline of work we are looking for a Certified Drain layer who is hands on and solutions based.

Able to provide training and develop teams and mentor individuals. An opportunity will also be available to focus on project management and other senior roles, as the appropriate candidate would progress with SBA Civil.

The offer an exciting remuneration package dependent on qualifications, Vehicle and fuel card on top, Laptop/ tablet, Work phone, Learning, development training and mentoring with the plan to become Project Manager.

The ideal candidate Certified Drainlayer (PGDB and or Certificate 4 Civil construction). Three waters experience with extensive experience in watermain HDPE installation, butt welding and fusion welding. This includes valves, hydrants, anchor blocks, live tie-ins, commissioning, and council signoffs. Capable of managing multiple crews.

Working in and around live traffic under traffic management. Reporting and light admin duties to capture day to day tasks for company record keeping. Deep trench drainage and use of trench-shield experience, including dewatering and water controls.

A great ability to read and follow drawings, plans and Inspection Test Plans. Keen to be an allrounder and multi-disciplined where needed. A great team player with the ability to motivate and lead teams on site.

Ability to plan tasks efficiently, including allocation of plant and labour resources and materials. Appreciation of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements in the Civil industry. Ability to management a project self-sufficient with minimal input form senior management.
